There are lots of web pages where you can practise these skills. Feel free to surf the internet and find your favourite ones. Too busy? Do not worry. You will find here some links to my favourite webs. The criteria that I followed to select them? 1. They must be free. Of course! 2. No registration needed. I find it annoying when I have to sign in a webpage just to find my email full of junk mails the next day. 3. And last but not least, the quality. And by "quality" I mean ... "quality". I tried to choose pages the tests of which are similar to the ones you will find in the actual exam.
Links
Engexam.info This is probably the best page you can find online for free. It has 15 tests and its overall quality is outstanding.
idiomium Sergio, the guy behind "idiomium", has a great compilation of exercises on his webpage. You can find both, reading exercises and use of English exercises. If you are more of an "old school" student, you can also find 5 complete tests to print.
General instructions
1. Copy the conditions that you will find in the real test. That means, time yourself!
2. Make sure you'll have enough time to finish the whole test. It is not advisable to do one part, then go shopping, then have lunch... and resume the exam hours later.
3. Once done, review the test and pay special attention to the questions you got wrong. Try to find out why they are wrong. ... and have fun! Why not? Some readings are very interesting and also, the fact that you are able to understand them can be really uplifting. Enjoy that feeling!
If you have your own favourite(s) and want to share it with the world (students who, just like you, are willing to pass the exam and need as many resources as possible) send me an email and I will add it/them to the list!
